The board approved memo #154-24, naming the new west area middle school Deep Creek Middle School.
The board approved memo #155-24 and memo #156-24 related to accrual of vacation leave for 12-month full-time employees and employee health and dental insurance premiums. These administrative changes bring the school division into alignment with practices of Chesterfield County government.
Discussion agenda
The board discussed memo #157-24, which recommends that the School Board consider revisions to policy 3020 (selection and evaluation of instructional programs) and revisions to policy 4010-R (standards for student conduct).
The board discussed draft policy 1015 (treatment of gender identity in schools).
