Three Aztec dancers dancing in the school cafeteria

The Quetzal Coatlicue dance troupe celebrated Day of the Dead and Hispanic heritage at Thomas Dale High. In addition to connecting with students during lunch, the Aztec dancers from Mexico City taught dance students in the Specialty Center for the Arts. A partnership with La Milpa Mexican Restaurant and Market made the visit possible. Thomas Dale High students Madyson Callendar and Angelina Rothwell took these photos.
